I like school because i like to play with Christian because i play football and he won. But, i tripped.

oops… i’ll be back in a minute, I have to go do my homework.

Okay, i’m back.

I like school because I get to go to writing and reading workshops. Today we cut out paper shaped like ourselves. We only cut out the shapes of our heads, but tomorrow we will cut out the shapes of our bodies…

We saved the shapes of our heads on the table next to the water fountain.  We went to lunch after that, Tristen sat next to me again.

I ate macaroni and cheese, pineapple, and drank white milk again.

Then, we played outside after lunch!

(My Dad typed the most today… I wanted to watch Sponge Bob and play with my remote control car. My Mom helped me think.)

My mom made me waffles this morning… mmmm, good! 

We were in the truck and we went to school and I saw a school bus.

Uhmm… and I was playing in my first grade room, with my teachers. It was fun and the new toys were also fun, and Tristen and I were getting a new toy from the bin. And there was a BIG cube, it was blue, we made a pile of a square and the BIG, blue cube.

Then, we had to clean up our mess. Yuck. 

We read The Three Bears, it was a good story, I liked it alot. Then we had to clean up our books. Yuck again!

At lunch I sat next to Kendall, he’s in my class too. I ate pizza and corn and drank white milk. I like milk.

After lunch, we rested in our chairs for five minutes or three, that’s all I’m going to say today… my fingers are tired of typing.

I learned about, that… peach and brownish frog in a book.

The frog was in a “blending in” book. I learned how animals blend themselves into things around them so you don’t see them. Sneaky frog!

My new teacher’s name is Ms. Hughes, she is a nice teacher and like her. And, uhm…

We did other new stuff, that I did not do in Kindergarten before.

At lunch I sat next to my friend Tristen, he is funny and I like him a lot. We went to kindergarten together. I drank healthy milk, the white one, and pizza… which my Dad said “That’s not healthy!” He’s silly. I don’t remember what Tristen ate today.

After lunch, Tristen and I had fun at the playground and playing baseketball… it was a tie! “I’ll get you next time, Tristen!”

That is pretty much all I did for my first day of first grade. My Dad came into my classroom this morning to meet my teacher and he had to do homework when he was here… that’s funny.

I am going to watch some TV and play my games now, until my sister comes home with Mommy. Thank you for reading about my first day in first grade.
